1999年被中華人民共和國(guó)交通部聘任為成績(jī)優(yōu)異的高級(jí)工程師(正高級(jí)職稱(chēng)),是我國(guó)培養(yǎng)的首位海洋石油工程領(lǐng)域的博士,目前從事海洋石油工程、深水水下工程、結(jié)構(gòu)和材料的疲勞斷裂與損傷理論、隨機(jī)振動(dòng)及工程減振、海冰工程力學(xué)、風(fēng)險(xiǎn)與可靠性等領(lǐng)域的研究工作。先后承擔(dān)完成160多個(gè)海洋石油工程的研究項(xiàng)目,包括國(guó)家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、973項(xiàng)目子課題、863重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家科技重大專(zhuān)項(xiàng)、發(fā)改委和工信部及海洋局海洋裝備重大項(xiàng)目等40多個(gè)國(guó)家項(xiàng)目,發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文400多篇,其中SCI檢索86篇、EI檢索200多篇,獲專(zhuān)利100多項(xiàng)(其中發(fā)明專(zhuān)利57項(xiàng)),有11個(gè)項(xiàng)目分別獲國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)、教育部自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)、教育部和山東省科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)、中國(guó)機(jī)械工業(yè)科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)等。自1995年以來(lái)曾多次應(yīng)邀出國(guó)講學(xué)(美國(guó)、加拿大、巴西、日本、韓國(guó))、主持國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議20多次,曾獲“2012 Fellowship Award of Society for Underwater Technology”、“全國(guó)交通青年科技英才”、“中央國(guó)家機(jī)關(guān)優(yōu)秀(杰出)青年”、“全國(guó)交通系統(tǒng)青年崗位能手”等榮譽(yù)稱(chēng)號(hào)。
